I have to agree with Zac here - you will find that youll want boost to come on as strong and as soon as is possible. After driving mine around not hitting full boost till 4500, full boost at 2000 would be real nice! Apart from that like Zac said also off boost drivablility is quite remarkable, youll find pulling up any hill on a highway trip for example in 5th can be done with about 1/4 throttle and 0 - 2psi of assitance. Basically youll be able to drive the car around without using any boost whatsoever quite easily, therfore when you do want it the quicker it kicks in the better...... Steve.
