Eric,
I dont think that i will have a "physical" problem in putting the Z24 crank into any of the L series blocks. I will just have to use the right combination of rods and pistons thats all. What i was trying to avoid is the hassle from the pits when i take the 1200 over. If i turn up with a L20 block in a 1200 there is no way that they are going to pass it with out engineering certificates and brake test and the like. I am yet to ask them what the maximum that they will allow in a 1200 but from previous experience they are not very forth coming with information on exactly what they will pass. Thanks any way, i think that it might just be easier to put it all into a L20 and then put it into a 1600 instead of a 1200. Cheers Chris Eric writes: > Chris, > > L13 is the same bore as the L16.
