Justin, I have the parts laying around the garage, I will dig them out this evening. It is really easy to measure, but you should use verniers to be accurate. >From memory one of the dimensions is 55mm.
PS I forgot to mention that another problem with using R31/BB struts is that you have to buy new brake lines ($$$) as the BB caliper has a Banjo/double flare fitting. While the Datsun has a single flare/single flare fitting.
