Usually even fairly old L6 engines can last well if they've been treated OK. Most mechanical problems are fairly easy to repair/replace, rear univ. joints seem to wear often, and also the area around the battery tray is very prone to rust, esp. underneath it and into the driver's footwell too + the rear hatch, quarters etc.. Also check for lots of play in the SU carbs esp. throttle butterfly as this will make them difficult to tune properly. Oh if it says Fairlady buy it! :)
