Amen to that. The CA20 is Nissans biggest embarrassment. The CA18DE/T is one
of their better achievements. And all in the same engine series?

I may get howled down but the CA20 is the best boat anchor, door stop,
paper weight, low velocity catapult projectile Nissan ever produced. The
cylinder head is very thin around the plugs and springs leaks etc.  I
have never had anything but trouble with them.

Go with the L20, or an FJ20 if you wanna stick to normally aspirated

I've recently scored a nissan pintara with a CA20 engine.  I was
thinking of
trying to put it in my 200B but a friend told me the L20 actually
produces
more HP than the CA. Is this true??

And also I thought the CA engines were twin cam 16 valve (CA18), but i'm

again told the 2L isn't
