Who says that you cant park on your own nature strip? We do it all of the
time in Canberra and if someone lowlife booked me for it I'd be mighty
p*ssed off. I'm not sure what I'd do about it though, probably march into
the local council chambers with a good attitude to begin with and take it
from there.

Terry

Subject: Parking Fine - nature strip

Does anyone have a good way to get out of a parking infringement for
parking on the nature strip? Its from the council and $60!! I was at
home at the time as well.. pity I didnt leave the door open I might have
heard him...

It was an honest mistake as we are moving into a house and I've been
parking in front of it on and off for 2 months when we go there (we are
renovating the house). Its on the corner so rather than park on the
corner or else on the busy road I park on the nature strip but
apparently that is illegal.. pity no one told me..

Anyway any help is appreciated..

- Julian
