does anybody out there have microtech running on
their car?
i had my manifold modified some time ago and the
guy who did it lost my air temp sensor
that (i assume) comes with the
microtech.
i rang microtech and they said that any other one
would suit (except series IV and onwards RX-7's)
i tried a hyundai one (only coz i work there) and
it was reading wrong so i rang them and they said
yeah any, even commodore. so i bought a VP V8
Commodore one and it's the same. not too sure
if it works on resistance or continuity or what
(not my area of expertise) but i think it uses the wrong
range. reason i say this is because i plug it
in one way (2 wire) and it reads -24 degrees, switch the wires
and i'm gettin 94 degrees. microtech said the
sensor would read either way with the wires.
any ideas?
