Chris,
        I had my bonnet fixed, by a panel beater a few years back, any crash
repairer should know. If you try yourself with silicone, make sure its a
neutral cure!!

        An engineer can do anything, as long as its safe and has the correct
track.

        I'd say you need your guards lipped, its worth it.
