Chris The marine industry use "Sika-Flex".. Its the best silicone going ... They use it to join the 2 halves of a fibreglass boat so it should be perfect for a bonnet. Bloody messy tho. I won't open the tube unless i got a bowl of heavily soapy water for clean ups.
