Sikaflex is all we use at work.  it's magic

most cars are glued together these days.  not much effort put into building them.

i have 240K struts on my 1600 with 16 x 7 wheels. they will fit if your car isn't too low
and you will more than likely need a 40/45 series tyre to keep rolling diameter close
to original and not rub.  and you can't go too low.  i tried working out if different offsets
would bring the wheel further in the guard but it's minimal before you have clearance
issues with the strut.  i don't have any probs though.  on the rear i don't reckon a 8" wide
rim would be a problem, so much more room at the back.

Subject: bonnet support and wheels

Hey guys

Does anyone know what kind of silicone (i guess) is used to join the bonnet shell to the bonnet skin.

The guy at auto 1 i spoke with had no idea.

Also is it possible to get a 1600 engineered in sydney with 16 inch wheels or is 15's legally as big as an engineer will let you go?

will 16x7 fit on the front with 240k struts?
and will 16x8 fit on the rear without more than lipping the gaurds?

Thanks.
