They use silka flex on cars too but why pay $35 a tube when ados panel(wallboard)glue does the same job and its $11

Its the same as buy Nike shoes they cost a shit load and made in china.

ChrisThe marine industry use "Sika-Flex".. Its the best silicone going ...They use it to join the 2 halves of a fibreglass boat so it should be perfect for a bonnet.Bloody messy tho. I won't open the tube unless i got a bowl of heavily soapy water for clean ups. If u make a mess and don't clean it straight away u will never clean it up.cheersMick
