pull the dipstick (or oil cap) from a 6cyl XF falcon and it runs rough and
depending on the condition can die...

hmmmmm , maybe, my bro has a bmw 735 efi ,  and  that too dies down a little
when u remove the oil filler cap. but there is nothing wrong with it at all,
power wise , cruising   etc are perfect.
