As Terry said in an earlier post the FJ is getting quite old now so most likely it will need some kind of partial/ thorough rebuild. Probably the extra spent on a later SR might be cheaper in the long run. And in standard form (going out on a limb here) the SR is probably a little nicer to drive than an FJ, a little smoother with very little turbo lag. But any FJ or SR powered 1600 is a weapon!
