Yeah, age matters.  I'm 20 and they charge about that rate only for 3rd party property.  They don't care what is done to the car as long it's got the blue plate on it.

when i rang Shannons, they told as long as it's approved (blue plate)
that's all they care about,
my quote was $378 for an agreed value of $10,000 full compresive insurance.

Heath - turbo si the prob. He said if it was like an SR20DE or the like - yeah no worries - but no 1 likes young with turbo - i can understand that. No i am after xtended 3rd party - property damage. If i want fire and theft it is $801 per yr and insured value of $4000 - (no matter what car) Can any1 gimme ne detials on vigil ?
