As i recall the FJ20T was having major tuning problems and couldn't rev past 5000 so the 2.4L kicked it. Correct me if i'm wrong.

The SSS FJ kit is fine for a manual body, mine has been used/copied quite a few times and we've never had a problem. The rear trannie mount is where there are subtle differences in the kits. If I was doing a turbo conversion in 2002 instead if 1993, I'd be looking at the SR or if I was on a budget the CA.
