mate, I think you are mixing up VVT and VVL too. nissan made VVT and turbo way back in the S14 200sx engines. I think you are thinking of the SR20VET which has Variable Valve Lift and turbo and is in the Nissan X-Trail. Unfortunately the aussie version of this car only gets a 2.5l v6 naturally aspirated.
