Terry,

Tonight I placed K-brakes on to my 1600. It reminded me of how much I detest them. The pedal feels like shit compared to B-brakes, and the extra weight is noticeable (but not excessively). The K-brakes had Ultimates and still did not feel better than the B-brakes.

How much extra do the Cruiser/Hilux weigh over B-brakes? Do you think that is worth the extra weight?

Have you ever heard of a QLD company called QFM (Queensland Friction Material)? Apparently they make a good semi-metallic pad and are priced well.

Anyway, hopefully It will work out a good combo
