Zac has a good point here. In a S1 you can either lose that NVH damper or
re-model your own (done both ways and no probs) and the filter fits but not
sure in the S2. Also, years ago you could get an adapter that screwed onto
the older L engine filter fitting that was used on the L18 version of the
Japanese 910 S1 - chances of finding one? not sure. Also, some 710's came
with a poxy oil cooler adaptor that my engine came with and it does the
trick too as that's where mine went to.

Malcolm might know what I'm talking about as there may have been the odd
Japa L18 910 imported to NZ.

Hey Brodie, im pretty sure that motor wasn't the original engine in the
STanza anyway.
The only thing I am concerned about is the oil filter in the bluebird has a
funny adapter on it? I am not sure why it has this but it could perhaps be
to clear the engine mounts. In which case the old l20b block style with the
oil filter directly attached to the block might not fit in the series 2
bluebird.
Then again, the oil filter setups may be adaptable between the two blocks. I
honestly don't know for sure, but this just sprung to mind. I bet another
lister can help.
