Thanks Andrew for clearing that up, I thought Sumis just might scrape in
right way round. Girlock callipers don't fit unless you reverse the struts -
no dramas caused by this other than the radius rod (aka t/c rod) inner
donuts cop a hiding from being pushed under braking instead of pulled as the
forward mounted radius rod is designed to do.

I have 240K struts with the 270mm disk and twin spot sumitomos, with the
struts not reversed (caliper rearward), and have never had any probs. I
wonder what it is that sometimes results in struts requiring reversing,
sometimes not?
