David, I think you have the wrong end of the stick. H190 refers only to the differential type.
There are different H190 installations and axle widths etc.. I did wonder why you went for the Bluebird rear axle... The Bluebird has a coil-over strut that sits on top of the axle, and fabricated/boxed lower control arms. The Gazelle axle (the one you should go for) has exactly the same setup as the Stanza. It has a separate mounting for the shock and spring. You also should get a "short nose" Nissan 720 differential as this will allow you to use the standard propshaft. A good Ute diff centre should cost about $100-$150 A good housing (with stock diff centre, arms, swaybar, springs and insulators) <<and handbrake cable assembly>> shouldn't cost much more. If you want to keep the drum brakes, that is all you need to get. Then bolt it together and install it yourself. You will need to fix the lower control arm mountings at some stage. Any questions, or if you need some photos, please Email me. I have the car and the digital camera here at work (no jack though) Nick > > From: "David Costello" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: ARRRGGG Help Me > Date: 08/04/2002 11:42:23 > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > the guy said the suspension mounts are in the wrong place, both the upper and lower >control arm mounts are in the wrong place, it doesn't have coil spring mounts, all >the mounting brackets need to be changed and the whole thing is 65mm too wide > > everyone on the list was saying it's a near straight bolt in, doesn't sound that >simple to me :( > > Dave > ----- Original Message ----- > From: E Smith > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, April 08, 2002 11:14 AM > Subject: RE: ARRRGGG Help Me > > > Get them to dig up a gazelle rear axle assembly, It will go straight in but you >will have to do the mount alignment a bit later. > > > > Cheers > > Feral Errol > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of David Costello > Sent: Monday, 8 April 2002 9:02 AM > To: Ozdat Mailing List > Subject: ARRRGGG Help Me > > > > Friday arvo I took my stanza and the H190 I bought into the shop to get it all >fitted.Received a call back from them at 8am this morning saying that they can't fit >that diff to a stanza cause it's 65mm too wide and the wheels would be hanging out >32mm either side. the guy said the suspension mounts are in the wrong
place, both the upper and lower control arm mounts are in the wrong place, it
doesn't have coil spring mounts, all the mounting brackets need to be changed
and the whole thing is 65mm too wide
everyone on the list was saying it's a near
straight bolt in, doesn't sound that simple to me :(
