Thanks Terry and Andrew,

what is it that means that special tachos are required? I mean, fair 
enough if running a tacho from the computer the tacho would have 
to be compatible and therefore special, but I would have thought 
the pulse/electronic type tacho would have been able to be hooked 
up universally?
