It may not be as drastic as that. Depending on choke sizes fitted to the
carb if it is 34 mm then you will not have to change for a single. There is
no reason auxiliary vents should have to be changed. Mains $20, Idles $20
and maybe emulsion tubes, but I doubt it if it was good before on the L20B.
You may have to drop a size in pump jets $30.

Subject: weber swap

Hi Listers,

I want to change my 45mm sidedraught weber that came off a L20 so it will
run sweet on my L16. I have been told - venturis, aux venturis, main jets,
emulsion tubes, air corrector jets etc.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea on how much it
will cost me to get all this done?

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic to go in Melbourne eastern suburbs that
know their webers?

Also, if i got all these bits changed to suit the L16 and i kept the old
parts, would it then be cheaper to have the parts changed back to suit an
L20 again?

Sorry for the long post, any help would be great.

Cheers, Mark.
