Blue RTV is an automotive oil/water sealant. It's a Loctite product and O2
sensor safe and it good sh*t, probably the 2nd best sealant on the market
but RTV costs ~$12 a tube and the orange stuff that Toyota use costs ~$30
for 1/2 as much. You can get Blue RTV at Repco but any good parts place eg
Supercheap etc should carry it. One thing I've found with RTV is once you've
used it once through the nozzle it's a bugger to get moving the second and
subsequent time round and I've tried the usual nail in the nozzle thing and
all. Now I squash what's left up the end of the tube like toothpaste and
then just prick the tube again and out she comes nice and fresh.
