Hollinger gears in a stock box like a T5 usually just have the input ratios changed so it brings 1,2,3 closer together, 4 is 1:1 and so unchanged and 5th cog is changed as the input gears being closer make overdrives gears further apart. The really exy stuff is like what V8 supercars run with dog gears, very nice to drive them if they're anything like what was in Jim Richard's R32 but they aren't very street friendly. The new T6 box doesn't have a 1:1 ratio, bit like a motor cycle box so it's a bit easier to change ratios etc and with one of those you usually change the diff gears only for each track.
