Cheap to get good shine?
Laquer paint then 2Pak clear.
4 liters of a real nice blue/purp Met around $300nz, thats Laquer,then 3 liters of a USA made 2Pak clear $400nz.thinners,sand paper,2 Pak knifing putty,thats anther $300-400nz.
You pay for what you get or if you do it yourself it will cost around $1000,thats panel and paint.
A 2pak paint job the same as the Charger in my shed .You will not get any change from $10,000nz
and thats just the car painted not put back together.Plus thats only the outside,doors,door shuts,boot and engine bay,thats bare steel 2 pak repaint.
Gun finish is the only way to go.Flat and shine with no buffs marks cos its never been buffed,It gets a warm clear rinse every three years.Then back in the shed.
Oz chargers go well with the 440 R/T ,It had to be hemi orange with black bonnet and stripes ,painted on not stickers.
Can you buy new charger bits on ozzie???,tail light lens,and front lens thats all it needs.

Show car should be baked 2pac
race/street car just use Laquer
slight dent with 2pac will crack paint and come off in sheets. slight
dent with Laquer ,probley no damage to the paint and just tap it out.
p lus Laquer is very much easier to touch up.
