McCarrs Creek road and Galston gorge look good on the map but I found them a bit too tight to really cut loose.
Old Pacific Hwy is good - all of it - watch out for the bloody bikes. Woy-Woy road all the way to Pearl Beach used to be my favourite, too busy now. The road near Lane Cove National park in North Ryde is a nice and handy hillclimb type test.. make sure you slow down for the speed camera though! Does anyone know of good dirt roads or dirt areas that are less than 1hr from Sydney?
