The L18 SSS head will bolt on to your 1600
block. Is it an early big port head or a later head? That
is what you need to know. If the carbs are original and have rounded
bell tops its likely to be an early and desirable head ie from a 1973/4
SSS.

Brett I'd like to know that too. I've got a stocker and my mate just
wrote off his 1600 wagon (spewing) its got a sss 1800 head on it and I'm
wondering one, will it fit on my L16 and how much dickin around I'll need to
do to get it running and two how much I should be paying for
it?
