Ross, the car is a 71 510 caged end to end and will be FJ 20 det powered, I actually was looking into using a 910 rack front, there's not much in it width wise, plus being an off road race car as such, I don't have to worry about rego requirements.

What car is your hillclimb car? What engine.

The other reason for doing this swap would be that it already has mounts for a CA engine.

      Was at the wreckers on the weekend (anyone on the list own a very clean white 1600 who was at "pick' pay'n go" yesterday? Very neat!)

      Anyway, was looking at possible lower control arm swaps for my stanza and noticed the the Gazelle might be a good option. LCA seems to be about 15 - 25mm longer which may be good for camber. Then noticed that the whole crossmember might swap into the stanza complete with rack and pinion steering????? May have to shift one bolt hole on the chassis about 20mm.

      Anyone tried anything like this, and would it work on a 1600 too?
