I cant remember the price, it wasn't "supercheap". $40 a square meter rings a bell, but I could be very wrong.
The friend of ours who bought it called in on his way home from picking it up. He showed me the stuff and it was a lot better than the old horsehair material. I think it has a backing which forms a semi rigid shape when it is pressed into the panels. This guy has just restored a Jensen Interceptor and $40 a square meter for sound proofing sounded cheap to him, but he is used to paying big dollars for his restoration His car has cost over $40k to rebuild. The joke is he likes his sons restoration project better! This car is a 260Z that his son bought for $4K and spent another $3k to turn it into a top car.
