The only thing that comes to mind would be integral pedal/master cylinder combos found thru hot rod/racing/stock car suppliers by Tilton etc.. where the reservoir sits behind the firewall, above the pedal assembly rather than in front of it. Mounting the reservoirs below the cylinder would not work well as the fluid would not flow well into the hydraulic system. Always thought a hydraulic throttle might be interesting but would require quite a bit of work :)
