no it won't be identical but it will be same in principle. I have a Mazda
1500 manual (same series of engine I believe) and there is some different
stuff you need to do with the timing chain tensioner. We took a head off an
NA1600 engine once but never but it back on cos the block was rusted out and
warped from overheating.
