Hi all,
I have the opportunity to pick up a 55mm DCOE weber and was wondering if
any one has played around with beasts like this. THe motor that it will be
running on is as follows
L20 block, Z24 crank, Z22 oversized pistons making about 2.3L, 30/70 cam,
balanced bottom end, about 10.3:1 comp, extractor and a 2.5" system.
Any one got info as to what jets etc to use? Im looking for more bottom
end to mid range power rather than flat out high revs. I assume that the
larger carbs run all the same jets and all that as the smaller ones except
for the chokes and the like.
Match porting the carby to the manifold is a big area that will obviously
need to be looked at.
