Alex,

IMHO if its got a 1.6L std, i wouldnt bother doing anything with it. If
she/you likes the car then sell it, go buy a SSS pulsar and then modify the
SR in that.  Rebuild it, turbo it, what ever, the amount of hassles that
you will save will be worth the $$$ spent, and then the SSS gets heaps more
stuff than the std ones.

If you dont mind changing to some other car then there are heaps out there,
depending upon $$ to spend and you tastes.  Skyline GTS-t, Silvia, NX coupe
(if you like FWD) Laser 4WD, Pulsar GTiR etc etc
