Skyline/Pintara rear cal brackets are a steel pressing.  From the 
description of  the problem there is insufficient heat input to melt 
the bracket steel - IOW, all that is being melted is the welding wire 
and there is no fusion with the bracket.  Simply put, more amps are 
required.
