Chris,
I did a cut and shut on the gearbox crossmember using some angle iron.I think the
240k uses a thinner mount but i dont know if this works.Some people just use
spacers between the g/box crossmember and the floor and use longer bolts.The
other switch on the g/box is a neutral switch that is normally connected to an
inhibiter switch only allowing it to start in neutral.You dont need this although
i used it as i had an automatic wiring.I used a standard 1600 speedo cable from a
70 model.I dont know if they differ in other models.
