Rick, Sounds a bit like here in Canberra. I'm sure 2/3's of the 1600's around aren't on the street as a new one appears every month or so and 9 times out of 10 you never see it again. I heard the other day the one of our finest 1600/FJ's that was hit up the rear 3 years or so ago is back on the streets. There's a tan wagon getting around I'd like to have a closer look at, goes real well but I couldn't pick what engine. I guess the way we catch up with everyone local is to attend the cruise days - hopefully I'll be here for the next one (when it's warmer, you just wouldn't want to be out in the hills at the moment).

It seems to be a little hard to keep track of who owns what 1600 these days and which ones are left as the BUTCHER OF BENTLEY seems to get all the good 1600's to strip down. Chris T's brother bought a commodore I think when he got the yellow sticker on the burgandy 1600 that chris was trying to sell a while ago. I think Ryans brother still has the Blue Z18/20 turbo one but I have never met him. Bret henderson still has his I think. There is a bloke who works for marlows balcatta that has a nice gunmetal gray one. His mate has a bunky and a auto one I sold him. Dirk from AGI has a nice collection including his coupe and the custom FJ20det ute. But none of them are on the ozdat list. I do know of a couple of others that don't have internet access at the moment butt they have 1200 coupes. Any how I recon we should try to get a register going so we know what is going on. Later.
