Its kinda hard to understand what the noises are! But you did a great job none the less! Let me see... Q1:"Sometimes there is a CLUNK/POP noise from the steering linkages?" A1:Could be tie rod ends are stuffed. Or ball joints, Get someone to shake the steering wheel for you whilst you look under the car and look at the tie rod ends, if they move even a little bit without the part that is conected to moving, they are stuffed!
Q2: Sometimes there is a CLANG noise from the clutch when I let it out. A2:Could be one of the folks(or paddles) bent or broken!) The only way to check this is to take the gearbox out!- I hate this job!! Good luck!
