hi, that nissan ecu editing software and eprom programmer kit i got,
had the software etc.. for the nissan engines.

but the guy is finally sending me the software for the rb30 turbo and non
turbo DELCO engine..

if any of you out there want a copy of the software for free, email me
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a postal address. and i`ll send ya it.

below is something interesting , i got from a ecu list, looks like you can
have 2 different rom maps in a eprom and switch between them.

Hi,

Try this instead of making a circuit:
Use a new 27C512 EPROM which is 64KB, put the 1st ROM
on &H00000 to &H07FFF (using hex editor) then 2nd ROM
data on &H08000 to &H0FFFF to create a 64KB file from
two 32KB (27C256) files. Burn the new file to a 27C512
EPROM. Get a 3 pole switch, bend the pin1 of 27C512
upward without touch the ECU. Solder Pin1 to the
centre pole of the switch. Solder pin 28 of 27C512 to
the other pole and solder pin 14 to the next pole. So
when the switch is up pin 1 and pin 28 (address bus
15) is connected and page 2 or 2nd ROM data will be
accessed. When the switch is down Pin 1 and pin
14(ground) is connected and page 1 or 1st ROM data
will be accessed.

This method is called double chip. We have a lot of
double chip program available.

..... did you also know that a rb30 (vl commodore) clutch plate will
fit a l/z series?

i replaced one the other day in a commodore vl, and used a input shaft from
a navara to line it all up.......

now THAT gear box was to heavy to put on my
head............................

                                             mark k
