Ross,
4
turns is stock - 5 must work up a bit of a sweat. A 1600 is supposed to have 4
turns also, beats me but I can only get a bit more than 3 out of mine and it's a
tad heavy but I love it in Canberra for ripping through
roundabouts.
regards
Terry

Subject: Steering Boxes
Hi list
Got a spares car on the weekend for bits while I rebuild my Stanza. I think it has a slightly quicker steering box. The new car has about 4 turns lock to lock, my car has about 5.
Is there a more scientific way to check this (ie number stamped somewhere?) or do I just swap them anyway?
The new car is 1980, my car is 1981 if its any help. Thanks
Ross G
