Jim and others
Yup i've got to agree with you, my 240K sruts
are the correct way around, i have my brakes on the rear of the
struts. I found that i just had to shave a small amount off one
ofthe caliper mounts to get it to squeeze in there.
I have a set of springs out of a KH laser,
they are lowered version and fit and ride beatifully, great handling but
they are not captive.
The 240K brake houses i got fitted up
fine.
Combine this with 280ZX or Urvan 15/16 master
cylinder and you'll have a great street brake set up!
Hope this all helps

they are lighter is shortened to they're lighter.
anyway i'll try and surpass your brilliant advice and actually help
this guy out.
I have 240k struts on my 1600 and they have not be swapped left
to right. ie caliper mounts are on the rear not the front of the strut.
I am sure everyone else will claim you have to switch them left to
right.
Don't ever cut springs, you can use the standard 240k springs but the
front will sit high. You can either use 1600 springs or get lowered 240k
ones. I recommend the latter.
I got brake hoses from a 180b, you just have to measure and get an
idea of what hose will be long enough and fit the caliper and then go to
a wreckers. however the 240k ones should be fine.
Good luck and i hope you have better luck than i do getting help on
this group.
