The best way i found to clean out foam (finer filters) is with turps  soak and  shake 
them twice then  wash with warm soapy water and rinse let them to dry in the sun one 
dry apply finer filter
fluid and work into the foam so its nice and even coated (just sticky but not 
saturated).
