As far as I know the sunny runs carillo rods and cosworth pistons the rest is fairly top secret.
I can tell you though it runs twin 45mm webbers and points! No hightech stuff here. This car is te perfect example of how suspension can put a car in front. Both the SR powered cars are much quicker in a straight line, but the sunny is very well set up. I have heard that it runs Penske Shocks ($10,000 worth roughly), but I am not sure. I know some other cars in the over 2 litre class run the same shocks. Oh......... and the car is for sale, if you have a lazy $17,000 laying around *cough*. Mind you, it did win the state championship this year. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ryan Ottens" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 02, 2002 2:00 AM Subject: Re: Motor Racing story. > what is done to the L20 motor in the sunny to keep it up there in the tops > of the 2 sr20 datsuns??? > > cheers, > ryan > > > >From: "Mark Alford" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To: "Ozdat discussion list" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >Subject: Motor Racing story. > >Date: Sun, 1 Sep 2002 18:33:55 +1000 > > > >Hey guys, > > > >Not strictly Dat related but some of you may Relate to this. > > > > I have just returned homw from a weekend of racing at Wakefield Park - > >crewing for a good friends car whom I race with (when I have a car - new > >one still coming).
