Ben,
        Bog definatley sticks better to bare metal, you can put it over primer but you run the risk of it not sticking properly or when you put topcoat on paint may fry up around the edge of the repair. 15 deg. is really a bit cold .....especially if it is a metallic paint.....I would be trying to wait till a warmer day, preferably over 20deg to be safe.

ive started the painting of my car, just in 1k acrylic. ive got a digital temp gauge in the garage, it basically has been sitting on 15d C most days...what temp should i be doing the top coat in??? is 15d too low and should i put a heater in there??
also, just making sure, body filler has to go on bare metal right?? it cant go on top of primer??
