My opinion.Go for a Zed.A gemini is always only ever going to be a gemini.Keep
the gemini and do up a zed.At least you can recoop some of the $10k you
spend on it if you ever sell it.The zeds are still available for a reasonable
price if you look around.I had a look at one about 12months ago that was
4sale for $3900.The body and paint were perfect. The motor was a bit old
but still went fine. The interior was good and everything worked.Shame someone
came up with the money before me.I ended up finding another 1600 shell
so abandend the zed idea.
klay wrote: heyas, kinda off topic, but im asking here because u guys and gals know so much.I gotta gemini ( shh, only old car i could get my hands on for cheap ) now, i wanted to do this up.was thinking an sr20 det maybe. i was planning to put at most $10,000 into it. now the big question. i reeeeealy want to get a 260z in good condition. u guys think buying a 260z second hand, in good condition, for under $10,000 would leave me enough money to still fix it up?or should i just go mod the gemini. like, i'd rather the 260z, but i dont wannt spend all my cash on a 260z, and have no money left to upgrade it. ta. P.S, any other opinions on what i should do are welcome. i like old cars. Z types are sweet. but basically i like coupe's2 doors. etc. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
