The Sydney Dyno Day was a great few hours for about 6 cars dynoed and about 15 car loads watching.
The facilities are brand new and Yavuz that runs it is extremely motivated and knowledgeable. I started the ball rolling, with my L20B powered stanza which runs webers, extractors and cam and pushed out 90.6Kw. A Non turbo supra came out with 131Kw An Fj 20 1600 put out 103 Kw followed by this pale blue 1600 which amazed everyone with 199Kw at the WHEELS. (my STI only puts out 160 at all 4's) A turbo RX-7 series 1 had 150 Kw. A V6 capri on its first day out came up with 83Kw and a FWD Magna VRX in brand new showroom trim put out 119. As usual a lot of BS was sprouted by various people who made up figures but didnt want to prove anything. Yavuz is very careful and patient with the cars and gives you tips on how to improve the performance. $40.00 was a bargain for the info we received, Im booking a performance tune for my car as the Torque figures at 3000 -5000 revs were quite low and a dyno tune would bring them up. I also learned that my car max power is at 6,800 rpm. All in all an informative day.
