Unfortunatly there was two events on this weekend. Classic Rally and the Rally up near Mundaring. I was servicing car 11 (Bright Green FX Corolla), Well we watched it run at the spectator point then ran to see what needed to be done. It was a tiny Rally this event didn't have to do a thing Didn't even need to put in any fuel. So I missed out on the classic this year. I did see one of the datsun guys from one of the cruises out at the spectator point, he was on a mountain bike with disk brakes. I turned around for a sec and he was gone, Sorry I missed him but you get that. Any ways I think it is time for us Perthites to get together and have another cruise again. Especially now I have my gearbox fitted now I can now guarentee it won't leave me stranded in the middle of no where like my old one would off. Thanks for that Chris Simpson it is a very nice box mate. If any one has any ideas about where to go and when and we will try to get one organised hea. Maybee next Sunday?? I followed the classic rally around for the last 3 days.Inside the dome is slow and slippery.You need to go to places like collie where they do some circut and sprint stuff at high speeds.That M5 sounded sweet bouncing off the limiter in top gear at collie.I think the girls smashed the audi on purpose.The guy in the m5 and the girls in the audi went the wrong way in every motorkhana that i saw.Next year maybe there might be a couple of 1600's to give the escorts and alfas etc a bit of a challenge.
