Andrew,

You should adjust the drums in the correct manner first i.e. as per the
handbook (release handbrake cable etc). It's normal for a Nabco or Tokico
dual master not allowing the pedal to go all the way to the floor as there
is a mechanical stop screw in the base of the master cylinder to prevent the
piston from going past a certain point. Remember to bleed the line which is
the longest from the cylinder first. I seem to always do the rears first,
but in theory with a dual m/cyl it shouldn't make any difference.

regards
Terry

Subject: brake system problem?

Hi guys,

I was bleeding my brakes today after a fair period of non-use, but the
pedal would not go all the way to the floor. Is this normal????

The setup is 240K twin spots on the front, 1600 drums on the rear, nabco
7/8" master and 180b booster...

Thanks for any help,
Andrew
