Andrew,

The standard 1600 165R13 tyre does 886 revs per mile, a 195/50x15 does 918
rpm (+4% which is the same as a diff ratio change i.e. 3.7 to 3.9) and a
195/55x15 does 886. The Bridgestone USA site has a tyre selector by size
which is very useful.

Subject: tyre size confirmation

Hi All,

Ive got to get new tyres and the places Ive asked have said the correct
profile in a 15" for a 1600 is a 195/50/15. But didnt someone say that a
195/55/15 is actually the closest to the standard 1600 tyre diameter?
I am confused as to which I should get - can anyone offer any advice?

Thankyou
Andrew
