Hi all, While some might spend their annual leave in the tropical far north Qld I stand around workshops watching my Datto get Dyno tuned! This was more a form insurance to satisfy myself it wasn't lean anywhere across the range. The results were 126 kW rear wheel, maximum tractive N = 2919, air temp. 17.3 at 10 PSI boost as measured on a Dyno Dynamics Chassis Dynometer. This was obtained with a fuel only Haltech F9 management system.
I note this output is very similar to other non-intercooled FJ20's that have dyno charts posted on pages. Recommendation was for a new Haltech so i can control ignition timing and closed loop exhaust temp or is it mixture monitoring? Has anyone experience to share about the performance increase with a more advanced computer to control the timing? PS. Just got back from 10 days in Cairns, so I'm not totally Datto during the holidays, though I was thinking about my HP run during the last day or two ;-) --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
