Hi Nat,

Actually the pads are DS2500 series not DS2000. I'm not sure if they are
carbon/kevlar or not.

The Motul RBF600 is $20 for a 500ml bottle (just enough to do a complete
fluid change/bleed). It's up there with the Castrol stuff in terms of
dry boiling point, however the Castrol has a higher wet boiling point.

DRY:590F -- WET:518F --- CASTROL SRF 
DRY:593F -- WET:420F --- MOTUL RBF600

If you change the fluid regularly it shouldn't be an issue.
